The skills I have acquired through the School of Information Sciences and Learning Technologies certainly give me a unique perspective relative to my project and product management peers. Through the combination of IT and education as focal points throughout the program, my skills are quite varied and applicable in many situations. As I grow further into the realms of project and product management I will be able to apply the critical analysis and technical skills learned in the MS of Learning Technologies and Design program. I hope to further my career and continue down the path of product management using these skills.
Goals
Within a Year
- Acquire a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
- Maintain my Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Further my knowledge of data architecture and cloud resource scalability
1 – 3 Years
- Acquire either an Advanced CSM or Advanced CSPO certification
- Become an expert in data architecture
- Develop a further understanding of computer networking
5 + Years
- Manage a team of developers
- Maintain both an Advanced CSM and an Advanced CSPO certification
